It's hard to believe that today is the last day of 2011, cliche but true. I have to agree when a friend of mine tweeted that "2011 was... quick". I've never changed my mind eversince I told myself that this is the toughest year I've ever had. Tough but fun :)
Too many things happened from the beginning of the year until today, the end of it. There is no doubt that I've become more independent and stronger this year and I'm thankful for that. I may not remember everything but I made it through, all by myself or with the help from my loved ones.
January
1. Started school as a form five student, senior year eh?
2. Fell sick a lot of times.
3. Thought about quitting from becoming a prefect but I did my task, completely.
4. Emotionally unstable for the first few weeks.
5. Started going to tuitions every night except on the weekends.
February (month of Bieber)
1. Found out that Justin Bieber's gonna be here for a concert due to his world tour.
2. Went crazy about it with my Beliebers friends.
3. Received a parcel filled with a ticket for his concert a few weeks before the big day from a friend of mine, I was over the moon.
4. Listened to the entire album every night while I was studying, so much for getting ready for the concert hahaha
March (another month of Bieber)
1. Sat for the monthly test.
2. Went to a concert for the first time and it's Bieber's ok? Just imagine it, first concert = Bieber's = cool kan? Fine, you don't get it.. Anyway, it was definitely one of the best nights I've ever had.
3. What else happened eh? Can't recall :s
April
1. Joined the school's netball team at the very last minute and went for the competition. I'm pretty sure I did it for fun. (not sure if this was in April or May but nevermind)
2. Still fooling around with my studies.
May-June
1. Exams, tuitions, extra classes.
2. Realised that I really need to start studying.
3. Sat for the ICAS and had to wait for months for the result.
I'm starting to forget everything that happened.. But I'll just do what I remember ok?
July
1. Skipped class just to prepare things for the Meade house.
2. Extremely busy with Sports Day.
3. Wakil Meade for high jump hahaha (this too, I did it for fun)
4. Went to school at night with some friends for the last minute preparation for the next day (Sports Day)
5. Became Princess Fiona for the marching thing and Meade won the best marching something like that :D
6. Best Sports Day ever, I must say. Yela ada Shrek, Harry Potter, kesultanan Melayu, Jepun, pirates on the same field ok? Mmm good times :)
7. Flew off to Gold Coast for the students exchange programme. Had lots of fun but a week wasn't enough :(
August
1. Busy with trials.
2. I was quite disappointed with my trials because I know I could've done better but oh well, what's done is done.
3. A month of fasting eh?
4. Nothing much happened, I think.
September
1. My birthday + raya!
2. Celebrated both events with The Zains.
October
1. Everyone was busy to prepare themselves for SPM.
2. Can't recall..
3. Received my ICAS result!
4. Organised a makan-makan thing for OB's last class with the Georgians.
November
1. Worked extra hard and did everything I could for the exam.
2. Sat for SPM.
3. My mother came over to school everyday to bring me lunch, I appreciate what she did a lot :')
4. Done with SPM and done with school.
December
1. Lifeless hahaha
2. In the process of getting my driving license.
3. Thinking of getting a job but I didn't even look for one.
4. Went to Pangkor, looked after Aiman, the 10 y/o kid. (I still don't like kids after spending four days with him)
5. Lost a friend, or two. I don't know.
6. Lifeless.. hahaha don't worry, I'll get a life next year, you'll see.
And that is all I think? I feel bad for not being able to recall everything but I've had a great year. Tough but fun. I'm looking forward to next year which is tomorrow. No no there's no such thing as new year, new me but I'm just hoping that I'll be a better person than I am right now.
Thank you for all of the meaningful and memorable experiences and memories, 2011. You've definitely made me stronger and wiser.
I bid you farewell 2011 and I welcome you 2012 :)
